Using the Magimix slicing or grating discs—including those in the Creative Kits—is quick and easy, and the method is the same for all discs. Follow these steps:
-
Prepare Your Ingredients – Wash and peel (if needed) your ingredients before slicing or grating.
-
Assemble the Food Processor – Place the main or main + midi bowl/s onto the base.
-
Insert the Disc Support Shaft – Position the plastic disc support onto the central shaft of the food processor.
-
Select and Attach Your Disc – Choose your slicing or grating disc based on the thickness or texture you need. Place the disc onto the support, giving it a gentle spin until it falls into place.
-
Add Ingredients Through the Feed Tube – Place the lid on. Use the wide or narrow feed tube depending on the size of your ingredient. For best results, use even pressure when pushing ingredients down with the pusher. Ensure the large pusher is inserted below the MAX line.
-
Start Processing – Turn on the food processor and gently press down with the pusher to guide the ingredients through.
-
Remove and Clean – Once finished, turn off the machine, remove the lid, carefully take out the disc, and empty the bowl. Discs are easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher.
