- Respect the maximum cooking temperatures as stated in the user manual.
- Always allow the Cocotte and all its parts to cool down before washing them. Never
immerse them in cold water, at the risk of causing thermal shock and damaging your
accessory. - We recommend that you wash your cocotte in warm water, with dish-washing liquid
and a non-abrasive sponge. Never use scouring pads, wire brushes or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the surfaces of your pot. If any food residues remain attached to the bottom of your pot, soak it in hot water before removing the residue with a non-abrasive sponge.
HAND WASH RECOMMENDED
- You can wash all the elements of your Cocotte (except the support) in the dishwasher,
but excessive use is not recommended. Current dishwashing products risk damaging the
cocotte in the long run. The bottom of your cocotte may become discolored. However,
this will not affect the performance of your product. Therefore, we recommend washing
your cocotte by hand, which will be made easier thanks to its non-stick coating. Simply
wash in soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly before storing. - The support should not be washed in the dishwasher or immersed in water. Only clean
the surface of the support with washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive sponge.
STORAGE
- In order to prevent any friction during storage, we recommend that you place a suitable
protection (such as pot protectors) between your appliance and cooking utensils.
Maintenance
It may happen that the knob of the lid unscrews over time. Therefore, check the tightness of the knob from time to time and retighten if necessary.
Stubborn smell
To avoid them, do not put the lid of the cocotte on it when it is being stored. Use white vinegar, letting it soak if necessary.
